My Mission
New parents face enough challenges between 3 a.m. wake-ups, diaper changes, and trying to keep themselves somewhat operable. Breastfeeding is natural, but not instinctive. It’s a learning curve for both baby and the nursing parent. That is where I come in to help.
I have spent over a year studying, completing competencies, and exams to ensure I can provide the best care and support to babies and nursing families.I continue to expand my expertise by educating myself through others’ stories, reading up-to-date, evidence-based information on breastfeeding, and making sure I remain open-minded and judgment-free.
In my perfect world, parents would be encouraged to breastfeed, breastfeeding would be so normal, no one would bat an eye at a parent breastfeeding in public. Breastfeeding would be judgement free. Because no one knows your baby better than you.
